This is a story about how a Clare family's child welfare investigation request of GAA Officers, from Club level up to National level, remains obstructed, both within the GAA and outside of it, for more than 6 years, whilst they are left suffer on.
How people who have not yet been investigated on child welfare continue to have, not only indirect, but direct access on the ground to the family.
How the Children's Ombudsman has no remit as the GAA are not on its list of bodies in scope.
How Tusla, the Guards, Data Protection, the Protected (Whistleblowing) Commission and National Politicians, through their actions and lack of, lend to assist what is a massive GAA & State cover up.
The family are seeking public support to demand that their requested child welfare investigation is completed. The appalling treatment, false allegations and false club decisions inflicted on their family by Adults in the AFTERMATH of a violent restraining and choking attack on their son needs to be addressed. Neither do they want any other family to have to suffer what they have.
